Public transportation or how to get from A to B
Mobility in the district of Dithmarschen is of great importance for residents and visitors alike. Of course, this also applies to the residents of the eleven municipalities belonging to the district of Heider Umland.
On January 1, 2020, the city of Heide introduced changes to its public transport system. With the change of operator to Vineta Autobus GmbH, numerous improvements will be implemented, especially in early and late services and in the route network. Many improvements initiated by the Dithmarschen district are also coming into force in the area surrounding Heide.
